Bottom-induced contributions to Higgs plus jet at next-to-next-to-leading order

A bstract We present a next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) QCD calculation of the bottom-induced contributions to production Higgs boson plus jet, i.e. process pp → H + j $$ \mathcal{O}\left({y}_b^2{\alpha}_s^3\right) O y b 2 α s 3 . work in five-flavor scheme (5FS) which bottom quark mass is retained only coupling boson. Our uses N -jettiness slicing regulate infrared divergences, allowing for fully-differential predictions collider observables. After extensively validating methodology, we results 13 TeV LHC. NNLO show marked improvement overall renormalization and factorization scale dependence, latter proves be particularly troublesome 5FS calculations at lower orders. In addition, using same methodology computation b\overline{b} ¯ are implemented into MCFM.

Both vector boson fusion (VBF) and Higgs-strahlung type contributions are included along with all interferences.
